The Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) Canada is the official state sources of aeronautical information in Canada. It contains aeronautical information of a lasting character, essential to air navigation. The AIP is distributed in three parts:
Part 1 - General (GEN)
Part 2 - Enroute (ENR)
Part 3 - Aerodromes (AD)
The AIP Canada is updated every 56 days.
The Current Issue links to the publication that is in effect and remains on the site until the expiry date. The Next Issue presents the next effective publication date and the publication is posted no later than ten days prior to the effective date.
The Publication ScheduleOpen a new window details the 56-day cycle publication dates for the AIP Canada and the 14-day cycle publication dates for AIP Supplements (SUPs) and Aeronautical Information Circulars (AICs).
Minor editorial changes may be made to AIP Canada without notice. All substantive changes are clearly marked with a vertical bar in the left-hand margin.
We’re modernizing how AIP, SUPs, and AICs Supplements are published for pilots, ATS and other aviation professionals, making this critical information easier to incorporate into pre-flight briefings. Learn more about how we’re modernizing the AIP, SUPs, and AICsOpen a new window.
