Change in Hours of Community Aerodrome Radio Station - Grise Fiord, Nunavut
NAV CANADA, the country's provider of civil air navigation services, conducted an assessment of the hours of operation of the community aerodrome radio station (CARS) at the Grise Fiord Aerodrome (CYGZ). The assessment concluded that the hours of operation of the CARS can be modified to better service the aerodrome.
The hours of the CARS at Grise Fiord Aerodrome will be changed to:
Monday, Tuesday,
Thursday and Friday - 1300Z to 2100Z or 1200Z to 2000Z during daylight savings time
Wednesday - 1700Z to 0100Z or 1600Z to 0000Z during daylight savings time
Closed on federal observed holidays
This change will take effect 14 July 2022 at 0901 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). The appropriate aeronautical publications will be amended.
