NAV CANADA, the country's provider of civil air navigation services, has assessed the airspace in an area north of Vancouver and determined additional Class E airspace is required to contain IFR aircraft transiting the area.
As a result, the area will be designated as a Class E transition area. The dimensions will appear in the Designated Airspace Handbook (TP 1820E), as shown below.
